Negaunee, MI / Chicago IL 1978 -1998

The airline started operations in 1978 with a Piper Navajo. They moved to Chicago and became part of Republic Airlines System in 1985. Simmons started operating as part of the American Eagle brand in 1985. They were acquired by AMR in 1987 and ceased operation as Simmons and became American Eagle.
